These brushes have a flat ferrule and spread hairs which are made from very soft hair making them perfect for the application of glazes and underglazes. Useful for smoothing and blending colors, as well as adding textural effects.

Add AMACO® Gum Solution to glazes to improve their brushability and slow their drying time which results in a more even and consistent application. Old, thick glazes can be brought back to their original creamy consistency by thinning the glaze with water first, then adding about a tablespoon of AMACO® Gum Solution, or as much as needed to obtain good brushability without drag. Create an unlimited array of designs utilizing line and dot patterns on ceramic pieces with AMACO underglazes and these applicators. Two needle sizes allow you to make medium or fine lines, dots and letters. They may also be used with certain glazes.
