Spectrum Majolica Colors

The Majolica are all lead-free, dinnerware safe, and A/P non-toxic glazes. Majolica glazes are highly versatile and can fire from low temperatures. Cone 06/04, to the mid-range, Cone 4/6. Majolica glazes are designed to be painted on top of a white base (Spectrum’s 799 is designed specifically for this purpose). However, these glazes can be used on their own and will create a semi-gloss finish with 2-3 coats. They can also be used as an underglaze, below a clear glaze.
